David Murphy – For My Peeps is the latest chapter in the storied musical journey of bassist and synth player David Murphy, a founding member of the pioneering electronic/jam band STS9 (Sound Tribe Sector 9). After spending 17 transformative years with STS9—helping shape an entire scene that blended live instrumentation with electronic innovation—Murphy returns to the stage with a renewed vision and soulful purpose.

Rooted in a dynamic mix of funk, jam, and electronic music, David Murphy – For My Peeps
bridges the past and future. Drawing from the timeless sound of early STS9 albums, particularly the iconic Artifact and their foundational first two records, Murphy is reimagining that spirit through a modern lens. Live performances weave in those classics alongside new solo material, inviting audiences into an evolving soundscape of rhythm, energy, and emotion.

Musically influenced by trailblazers like Nine Inch Nails, Daft Punk, Pink Floyd, Empire of the
Sun, Tame Impala, and Herbie Hancock & the Headhunters, Murphy’s compositions are
instrumental stories—deep, immersive experiences that speak without words. His philosophy is clear: music and art are not possessions; they’re collective experiences, and the artist is simply
a channel.

Whether reconnecting with longtime STS9 fans or welcoming new listeners in search of the
funk, David Murphy – For My Peeps is a celebration of connection, creativity, and community—joined by the talented Kevin Donohue (Sunsquabi), Scott Hannay (Mihali), and Rohan Prakash (Rohan Solo).

Cozm & Nova

Cozm & Nova is the electronic fusion two-piece composed of guitarist/producer Jesse Cegielski and drummer Radley Fricker. Their unique approach to live electronic music is best captured in their dynamic show which leads the audience through hypnotic grooves and is littered with heavy breakdowns. With layers of synthesized textures flowing under a kaleidoscopic display of guitar patterns and phrases, the experience takes the audience on a journey they’re unlikely to forget. The 'Cozm' and 'Nova' characters, which have been developed by the bands own Jesse Cegielski, are forever present in the visual array that accompanies their music and take the form of masked, cloud-like figures that draw us into their ever-swirling universe. 

Reacting to their experiences in an intentional and productive way is heavily rooted in Cozm & Nova’s creative process. The two accomplished musicians pull meaning, symbolism, and feeling from a wide spectrum of creative influences outside of music such as art, nature, and fantasy. Then weaving in everything else they absorb from their realities, they make something unique and truly of themselves.

Cozm & Nova continues to be an active force in their scene bringing a magnetic presence to any stage they take which has secured them spots at major festivals including Suwannee Hulaween, Backwoods, Imagine, and Floyd Festival. Their self-dubbed sound “wave fusion” stands as an imaginative and extraordinary moment in the modern electronic music landscape.
